We’re committed to grassroots democracy.
You can become involved in your local group, where everyone has a voice. Our candidates are pre-selected by our members and our policies are driven by our members.
You can be more involved in election campaigns, local group activity, policy drafting and decision making. You also have the opportunity to attend state and national conferences, and subscribe to members-only email lists.

Ballina is proud to have Tamara Smith as the sole, Greens regional Member of the NSW House of Representatives
We meet once a month to hear reports and consider activities and action.
Currently this meeting is held on the third Sunday of the month s in Ballina.
We are part of a larger, infomal group Northern Rivers Greens, which includes Tweed, Byron and Lismore. NRG regularly organises social and community get togethers which often involve our other Federal Senators and NSW Upper House representatives.
Ballina Greens members live and work on unceded Bundjalung Country. We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the Lands and Waterways we call home and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
